FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is StashClash Space?
An informational, space-themed CS2 skins and cases directory. It catalogues weapon skins, knife skins, glove skins, cases and collections with illustrative prices. Nothing is sold here.
Are the prices real?
All figures are illustrative ranges for comparison only. Live prices change constantly, so confirm current values on an official marketplace.
What are CS2 cases?
Containers that hold a themed set of weapon skins across rarity tiers, from common blue-grade items up to rare knives and gloves.
How does case opening work?
Opening a case reveals one item weighted by rarity odds, followed by a wear (float) roll and sometimes a pattern roll.
What makes a skin rare?
Drop tier, wear, pattern index, StatTrak, discontinued source cases and community demand all contribute. Knives and gloves are the rarest tier.
Do I need an account?
No. The database is fully static and free to browse, with no login required.
Is this site affiliated with Valve or Steam?
No. It is an independent informational guide, not affiliated with Valve, Steam or Counter-Strike 2.
Do I have to be 18?
Yes. External case opening platforms are for adults 18+, and a confirmation step appears before you leave the site.

Learning the language of the stash

The fastest way to feel at home in CS2 skins is to learn a handful of core terms: rarity tier, float, pattern, StatTrak, collection and case. Once those click, almost every question answers itself. A skin's price is a story told by those variables, a case is simply a weighted pool, and a collection is the theme that links items across sources. Our directory is built to make that language visible, so browsing a few pages teaches you more than any glossary. If a question here does not cover what you need, follow the related guides at the foot of each page; between them they map the entire universe of cs2 skins, cases and item prices.
